Michael Wolf is an interaction designer, who moved to Cape Town from Germany in 2003. In 2007 he founded Formula D interactive, an award winning design consultancy specialising in the design of interactive learning environments for museums, showrooms or corporate visitor centres, using cutting edge multimedia technology.
After studying Design at Cologne International School of Design (KISD) and École Nationale Superieure de Création Industriélle [ENSCI], Paris, France, he joined MARS – Exploratory Media Lab at the Fraunhofer Institute of Technology to work on experimental human-computer interaction focussing on immersive media spaces and tangible interfaces for computer-enhanced learning.
Wolf has received several awards including the prestigious IF Design Award. He is member of the Cape Town Design Network management committee and local leader of IxDA Cape Town, the local chapter of the global Interaction Design Association.
